The Mountain Experience for all seasons

Let Britain's only mountain gondola transport you to 650m on the slopes of Aonach Mor.  Meander along the mountain trails to the panoramic viewpoints, then relax in the restaurant & bar with breathtaking views.  In summer, visit our Mountain Discovery Centre.

Pinemarten cafe bar and Snowgoose Restaurant open during gondola operating times.  Serving specialty coffees, home baking, freshly made snacks and meals daily.  Both the Snowgoose restaurant at the top, and the new Pinemarten cafe bar at the carpark, have amazing views and are the perfect place for a coffee stop, lunch, afternoon tea or a drink.  The Pinemarten is also open during our shutdown period, mid Nov -mid Dec. For daily opening times, please see our Full Mountain Report.

Nevisport Gift shop at the top See the range of framed pictures and posters commissioned for Nevis Range, browse amongst our locally made gifts or pick up a postcard to post in the 'highest postbox' in the area.  Also available hats, gloves, batteries and maps - the things you forgot to bring.

Gondola opening times 2015
The gondola is open on a daily basis, wind dependent, from Friday 19 Dec 2014.  Detailed opening times throughout the year are listed here.  PLEASE NOTE that building work is currently taking place on the gable wall of the Snowgoose restaurant & bar.  The Snowgoose remains open.  We are doing as much as possible top minimise disruption, and apologies for any inconvenience.  We expect the work to complete by 5 June 2015.
We have an amazing event taking place during summer, a round of the Mountain Bike World Cup.  Nevis Range will be accessible only by event ticket on 6-7 June 2015.  Parking on Fri 5 June for gondola visitors will be limited, and there may be a £5 parking fee for offsite nearby parking.  If you are visiting during these dates, then we invite you to join us to watch some of the world's top athletes taking part, here at Nevis Range.
The Gondola will be completely closed for a longer than nornal planned annual maintenance from early Monday 2 November until Thursday 17 December 2015 (dates TBC and inclusive).
The Pinemarten cafe bar remains open every day, other than Christmas day.

Winter Snowsports 2015/16

We plan to open for the winter season around Friday 18 December 2015 (date to be confirmed).  We will open for snowsports as soon as we have enough snow for skiing and snowboarding.  Check the Snow Report for the latest snow conditions.

Mountain Biking, High Wire and Snowsports?
These activities each have dedicated sections of the website - see the buttons across the top. The daily conditions report has status reports on all activities including the gondola and you will find it at mountain report which is updated daily all through the year.

A memento of your visit - Our Visitor Guide Book is available onsite from Ticket Office and the Gift Shop. You can also buy it online in our online gift shop.
